Would be surprised if Robertson doesn't at least get ~7m.

Kerfoot might get traded if the Leafs get a better value replacement, one guy they would look at is Dylan Strome, there are others who they might choose to use that cap hit on but landing Strome might make Kerfoot unavailable for a trade like that.

Faksa's cap hit is probably too high for the Oilers.

Overall though, seems realistic.

Sweet - thanks! I thought about giving Robo more dollars... but realized he's only 22. Even with a 5-year deal, he'll be signing a new one when he's 27 and coming into his prime years. I think at that point is when he could sign his super mega deal.

Np, one other thing is Khudobin to ARZ might not happen at all since he's stilll owed 3.75m but they wouldn't be giving up anything for him for sure. Isn't he done? I think Anaheim would take him if he is LTIR bound with a sweetener.

If his career isn't over then perhaps Buffalo would take him for FCs assuming they miss on Samsonov who is probably going to be offered big money on a short-term deal by them

Could not have said it better myself, very insightful.

Overall very well done, definitely one of the most realistic threads I've seen in a while.

It's been speculated that if Brent Burns decides to move, then it might be to DAL.

As a Stars fan.... please no. But knowing Nill.... he'll give him a 5-year $8m deal.

He's still under contract for 3 years, his hit is 8m or something. I saw someone suggest SJ retains like 2m so that it is 6x3 and they called it a Nill something, will try to find the tweet in a sec.

On 32TP Friedman said he could see Dallas making a run at Brent Burns if them and SJ could work out the financials and I thought that was ridiculous but then it dawned on me, if SJ retains 25%, 3x$6 for a 37 y/o D is literally Jim Nill’s home run swing

Guessing this is in reference to Pavelski's previous deal?
