Not sure what other WPG fans will say but this is a Dubois deal I would gladly accept.

I would agree with you. I don't get why the 5th round pick is in there, but hey I would take it. I would even take it without them retaining on Anderson.

Watching PLD for the last 2 years do you think he’d fit well in MTL and if so what would be the ideal contract for him in Montreal. Finally, do you think he’d be playing as a center or as a LW. A top 6 of Dubois-Suzuki-Caufield and Slafkovsky-Dach-? could be unstoppable in 4/5 years

It has been alleged in certain quarters that I am reflexively anti-Canadien, So here goes my withering criticism of another Habs ACGM:

Nice job.

I think Dubois would fit well in most Top 6's around the league. In Montreal, I bet he would take a slight discount (but not much) to play in his home province. Gotta think he'd be looking for a max deal of 8 years at around $7m-$7.5m. Lastly, I've only ever viewed Dubois as a centre and figure he would be most effective in the middle...but who knows!

I can't see Winnipeg having any interest. 3 players ranging in value from cap dump all the way up to worthless and a 1st. It doesn't make the Jets better now or in the future, so unlikely it happens.

Why do you always say that players are useless or cap dumps? Everything that this trade for Dubois has a big impact for Winnipeg. Poehling and Ylonen are very good prospects, Anderson is a very good winger at a decent value. A 1st round pick is always valuable. You have got be so negative about what people offer. I am not trying to jump all over you, but give this person a break. The value is very good. Not a single piece of it is worthless.

Because it's a fan deal and that's what those players are. Worthless or close to it. Every fan dreams that they can get star players for their castoffs, it just doesn't happen.

Anderson isn't a cap dump yet, but is very close to it. With the retention he has minimal value. The Jets won't be looking to get older if they move Dubois

Ylonen is alright, but a winger with bottom six upside isn't a target when moving a young top 6C.

Poehling is truly worthless. 5 years since being drafted and he can't crack the lineup of the worst team in hockey. He's basically waiver fodder.

You can like the players, that's fine. It just doesn't change the fact they have very little value.
