Not sure why you think WPG would let him walk for nothing? The team has control for 2 more years...obviously if a deal can't be reach you move him at the deadline for a 1st/top prospect as well.

There's 30 other teams out there... this trade offer looks like what the Jets might look to get for him if they traded him at the 2023 deadline as a pending UFA. It's understandable why a MTL fan wouldn't want to offer much for him, considering theyre assuming they can just get him for free in 2024 as a FA, but the Jets can simply do a lot better than that offer at this point.

If the Canadiens want him today, they need to offer more than an overpaid middle-6 forward, a busting prospect, mailloux and a late first round pick.

Oui mais pas avant mars.....

Si ont veut échanger Drouin faut le mettre dans de bonne condition pour qu'il performe et la tu l'échange au deadline. Surtout que les jouer qui doivent signer un nouveau contrat a 28 ans, se donnent a font pour leur nouveau chèque. Juste a penser a Skinner qui a fait 40 buts et signe par la suite 9 millions lol.
