Good deal. I was hoping he would go to UFA so COL could convince him to sign cheap for a chance at winning

A great signing for us -- just what we Kings fans were dreaming about, and at a number I didn't dare hope for. I'm so excited I'm thinking of creating a ghost CapFriendly account so I can vote "Yes" twice in this poll.

For what he does this is a steal. Now if they can move Walker and bring in another good LD they are set till one of the other rookies graduates

Contract contains $750k in performance bonuses, so his cap hit will likely be $1.5M. The Kings just have the possibility to defer the bonuses to next season if needed.

I was holding out a hope, a prayer, he would come back to Van. He's been underrated his whole career, great defenseman even now when nearing the end of his career.

If kulak were to sign else were in FA i was hoping that the oilers would target edler. This signing makes kulak a must sign player now not many top 4 LD on the market.

He's too old to make an impact and I fear at this point he might be a detriment. That said, the contract is 100% buriable, so there's 0 risk.

Only reason why I vote “No” on this one is because of the NMC. If it didn’t have that, I’d vote “Yes”.

He has a NMC, so they can't bury his contract.

So he could be a healthy scratch by the end of the year.

It's possible, but he was very good for the Kings last year. His play would have to fall off a cliff for it to come to that.
