Some terrible moves for Vancouver

Well based on the trade I’m guessing they’re actually not a fan of the Canucks

So let me get this straight. A current middle six center and the only real center prospect the rangers have for one year of Miller (since they can’t afford to extend him). This just seems like bad asset management from the rangers. They’ll still need a 3rd line center next year.

Based on their past comments, I'm guessing they are. Just a reasonable one, which is what probably threw you off.

When you’re a contender and can get a PPG forward while only giving up a 3rd line C and 2 average prospects, you take that and run. The Canucks would be stupid to offer this
