For how much San Jose is retaining, I don’t think it’s a good enough return. I would think a decent prospect would be asked for as well from San Jose

Was going to retain 40%. If they can clear Lebanc, 50% would even do.

I’d say retain 2M max if there’s no good prospect or 1st coming back. Pretty solid tho

Anything above 25% with no first involved isn't happening, San Jose is really in the position to be greedy right now, take as much assets as you can for a piece you know a team will pay for.

I'd say Burnsy unretained that's a fair trade, maybe up to even 1m retained. But you're definitely falling short with over 2m retained "for free"
