For ****s sake dude yes it does. Factually it works. The money is there.

Don't get pissed at me because you can't do simple math. Grow the **** up

Ok😂😂 Saying exactly what I said. How original😂 You are obviously as dumb as a brick. Best of luck in your fight against reality dip****

How are you arguing with factual information? And you've given nothing to prove your argument. Just repeating it's not close like an idiotic parrot

It wasn't lucky, he just played in the top 6

The Pens will probably prefer to bring in EROD over Milano but I’m not so sure EROD is that much better than Milano. Last season was strange for EROD, he played well in the top-6 regardless of his teammates, and then fell off. I’ve seen so many “explanations” for the drop off but it’s just pure guesswork. If the Pens can sign him for a reasonable amount, I say go for it. If not, Milano is a solid third liner.

You also have the 4 mil when Miller's deal expires, plus 2.2 from Bluegers deal. Zucker and Blueger can be replaced by cheap youth (Poulin, Nylander, etc). Hoping POJ has a good year, you can move him into the top 4 and find a 3LD. If you click on the long-term outlook tab, the pens would have 24 million in cap space next offseason (not including any cap increase) with about 13-14 going to Miller and Jarry, leaving 10 to replace Zucker, Dumo and Blueger. Doesn't seem too far fetched to me...

I mean never say never, but there would have to be a lot of moving parts. It’a obviously easier if Pettersson is gone.

I’m not arguing with factual information you are. And you’ve provided nothing to back up your claim except making up some nonsense.

I never said he was much better, I just said better. It was the other guy who said Erod wasn't even close to Milano. Which is just ridiculous. Erod's possession and advanced numbers were just as good when he moved down the lineup - it's just playing with worse players leads to less points. Yeah money plays a factor - but in this scenario we are assuming it's the same amount

Yes, and that's the point of the ACGM team. Given these conditions, a Miller deal is possible. It really only takes the one move to free up that money so it's absolutely possible.

I said "more points and better advacned numbers" and you said "no he doesn't". So yes - you are literally arguing with factual information.

And I have backed up my argument - I said more points and better advanced numbers. That's not made up nonsense its just factual information. You literally haven't even attempted to provide anything to back up yours

Okay smooth brain - since you are wrong and a dick, I will literally walk you through this.

If Miller gets 8.5mil next year, that means the Pens need to free up 3.25mil in cap space.
JJ buyout = 1
Zucker = 5.5
Cap increase = at least 1

Thats at least 7.5mil. Last time i checked 7.5 > 3.25

Ok. I’ll play along with that. That leaves you with 4.25 mil with Jarry, Dumo, and Blueger to resign or replace. Say Jarry get 5.5, so another 2 mil. Down to 2.25 left. Obviously don’t know Bluegers future here, but I feel they like him and want to keep him around which would already put them over the cap and still don’t have a Dumo replacement. Say we let Blueger go, replacing him with a minimum contract would be fine. That leaves like 1.5 to replace Dumo. The only way it works is if POJ blooms into a top-4 dman and we pay a small amount for a bottom dman leaving them with no money left. Big what if. Hextall has mentioned cap space numerous times. Don’t see him spending to the absolute limit. Even then they will still have to add a player or two to complete the roster making this impossible. Only realistic outcome with all of it is if they move out McGinn or Carter next year, which would be nice, but easier said than done. All of this assuming the cap goes up, which again is not a given.

P.S.-your hypocrisy is showing about that dick comment

I got what you were saying, they’re definitely closer than many think. EROD’s analytics did go downhill in the back half of last season, though. It wasn’t just that his production went down, he just played poorly for some reason. Literally one of the most perplexing slumps I’ve ever seen.

54% Corsi, 55.5% Fenwick, 55.7% SF, 54% xGF, 55% SCF. Sure they may not be at 60% like he was in the first half I'll give you that - but those numbers are still crazy good, some of the best on the team. Even more so condsidering the quality of teammates drastically dipped. Those numbers in the 2nd half were better than Milano had playing with Rakell, Terry, and Zegras

Blueger wouldn't already put you over the cap. I don't know why you are struggling with this. If Blueger goes from 2.2mil to 3mil, you only need to find 800K - not 3mil. No - that doesn't leave 1.5 to replace Dumo. You aren't accounting for Dumo's contract. So that would leave 5.6mil to replace Dumo.

The cap going up is a given. Bettman already said it.

So for your scenario - since Miller is having money retained: Zucker, buyout and cap create at least 7.5mil in cap space. 4.5 to Miller and 2 to Jarry gives you 1mil in free space. If Blueger resigns for 2.2 - that doesn't cost anything.

P.S. It's not hypocrisy - I'm just returning your dickish behavior.

No I’m not arguing with factual information. Just because you say it doesn’t make it true. He doesn’t have better advanced numbers. ERod has more points cause he played more games. Both scored at a 2 points/60 pace.
As for advanced numbers. Milano beats out ERod in War 77%-65%, PP 77%-69%, finish 65%-8%, goals/60 37%-28%, A1/60 82%-70%, competition 73%-71%. They are equal in EV def at 88% each. The only thing ERod has over Milano is EV offense 90%-67% and Penalties 81%-48%.
Would you like to get into micro stats? I can assure you it doesn’t get much better for ERod lol

I mean - you are. Just because you say you aren't doesn't make it true.

Rodrigues had a 57% Corsi, a 58% Fenwick, a 57% SF, 53% GF, 57.6% xGF, 57% SCF
Milano had 52% Corsi, 51.7% Fenwick, a 52% SF, 48.5% GF, 52.7% xGF and 52% SCF

So yes - it clearly does get better for Erod. Because these numbers aren't even close. So for you to say "it's not even close" comparing Erod to Milano, is just a wrong statement going against factual information. Not to mention Milano had better teammates, and Erod has more versatility.

Lol ok you’re obviously trolling. Corsi and fenwick? You still living in the stone ages? Wanna compare +\- too? 😂

Just incase you want the real numbers for those stats. They aren’t even as far off as you claim 😂. So again just because you say something doesn’t make it true. Try providing proof next time

Imagine thinking Corsi, Fenwick, Goals for%, xGF%, and scoring chance % is out of date lol. Get a grip.

And at least my numbers account for the whole season, not 15 games

No your numbers don’t account for anything because they are wrong lol. My numbers account for the whole season and actually comes from reliable sources like Natural stattrick, JFresh, Hockey reference. You just make up crap off the top of your head.

By the way as I was saying when I said ERod has been inconsistent over his career. Here is advanced stats from when they were both in the league full time.

How can you say my factually correct numbers are wrong lol. My numbers are literally from Natural Stat Trick you dolt - so apparently my numbers are right then since I am getting them from a reliable source.

Yeah Jfresh's cards are great and fun to look at. They are also subjective and only track like 15 games. To say that's the end all be all is just ridiculous.

You're giving me 2017 stats to prove a point in 2022 - good one dude. Even using those, Erod is still close.

They aren’t factually correct that’s why they are wrong. I’ve literally posted from natural stat trick the real numbers. You can even go on hockey reference to verify them. You haven’t posted any proof your numbers are legit because you can’t. And your numbers aren’t from natural stat trick cause mine are lol. And no I’m giving you their career numbers. But hey if you want to be stupid, that’s on you chief

Yes, they are factually correct. I pulled them directly off of Natural Stat Trick. You said that's a reliable source. Make up your mind.

No, you posted Natural Stat Trick numbers from 2017-2019. Completely useless information.

Yes I can. My numbers are literally from Natural Stat Trick so go look them up - they're just actually from this decade. No - you didn't give career numbers either. The only stupid one here is you. You can't make up your mind on what's reliable and you are flat out lying about numbers and arguing against factually correct information. You have done nothing to prove me wrong

I didn't make up one thing JFresh cards, so apparently I know more about those than you do too

You didn’t give numbers from natural stat trick. I gave you this years numbers from natural stat trick and from 2017 on. I literally gave you the proof. I also gave you jfresh hockey cards that you try to lie and claim are only 15 game sample sizes when they really are to visualize a players last 3 years of analytics and their current performance, but I guess you know Jfresh hockey cards better than Jfresh.

http://naturalstattrick.com/playercompare.php?fromseason=20212022&thruseason=20212022&stype=2&sit=all&score=all&stdoi=oi&rate=n&p1=8478542&p2=8477947&loc=B&gpfilt=none&fd=&td=&tgp=410&lines=single

Just incase you want the real numbers for those stats. They aren’t even as far off as you claim 😂. So again just because you say something doesn’t make it true. Try providing proof next time

YES I DID. Stop saying I didn't I literally gave you their numbers for last year directly from Natural Stat Trick - stop ****ing lying.

No - you gave 2017-2019 only. You've given no proof - except for 2017-2019. My god how are you this dense

As you can see several comments up. I gave you this year. You’re the one lying and you know it. You’re stats are factual. Mine actually are. You haven’t provided the link to the supposed natural stat trick site that you got your stats from yet I did for this year and from 2017 on. You’re full of crap 😂

In my defense - you edited that comment. Not sure how I'm supposed to know that.

Also, that link proves me right. Erods numbers are better. So you're lying. My stats are factual - they're just 5v5. Either way, even the link you provided proves me right and you wrong.

So no - it seems the one full of **** here is you. I rest my case

I never edited that comment lmfao but keep lying. It’s what you do best. You don’t know anything so all you do is lie and make up nonsense. And just an fyi, since reading isn’t your strong suit…I never said Milano’s Corsi and fenwick were better than erod’s this year. I made fun of you for using that as the end all be all and showed you your numbers were lies and they were a lot closer than your made up numbers.
