Anddddd that’s a spam decline and a cupcake being sent to Buffalo’s office with a note saying “you’ll never hear from us again” from Chicago

It's pretty insane that BUF is just barely over the cap floor with that trade. But this would most likely never happen. I think BUF fans are about to rip you apart. And your lines are not right. I wouldn't be surprised if CHI accepted this, though.

Kane is not a dump, especially at 50% retained. Toews isn't a dump at 50% retained either. But, Buffalo has no shot at competing for a cup so it makes no sense for them to do this trade anyway. At 50% retained, Chicago might want more.

Thanks Chopper02 someone sees the value in Kane & Toews. Folks calling them "dumps" are just plain wrong.

Horrible trade for Buffalo, now that's TM himself. Kane and Toews have all the Power with there clauses. Be surprised if Chicago gets half of what some expect.

Just reported that Kane is staying in Chicago for now. Maybe there is a in-season trade coming but he's not being moved in the off-season

Didn't say Kane was but Toews and Mrazek certainly are.
Toews is most certainly a dump right now. Maybe if he plays this year and restores some value, then it could change come deadline time. But nobody is taking him on even at half price.

Nobody is saying Kane is a dump.
Mrazek and Toews are.
You are fooling yourself if you think toews isn't a dump at this point.

Mrazek is in the running for the worst goalie in the NHL. I rather have UPL in net full time at least he would have a excuse to being bad

Toews is NOT a "dump" the Hawks are not in need of cap space. Toews at half his salary is a bargain for a top 2 center in the NHL with the leadership, FO%, and on a playoff team, he is a huge asset.

Mrazek has been. Toews at 50% wouldn't be a dump though.

Toews was abysmal last year and injured. 3 years at 4mil at 34 years old seems dumpy to me.

A top 2 center in the NHL? I don't think so.
He was abysmal last year and hurt. Dude is 34 even at 50% that's 3 years @ 4.2 mil
Nobody is paying for that
