I really didnt think they needed him, but for this price and term- its a no brainer. They can lose Connor Brown and wont miss him- other than on the PK.

it's official, Ottawa's rebuild is over. Giroux gets to play for his hometown team and with not too much cap hit either, they'll be fun to watch this season.

Probably because Toronto got desperate for a goaltender and took a lesser return, also draft day deals much different then a normal deal like in FA

My point is that sometimes, teams will use the press as negotiating tactics against teams they are trading with.

The Buffalo Sabres did that against the Vegas Golden Knights by planting a story that Calgary offered Matthew Tkachuk for Jack Eichel.

unless Dorian/Adams deny that, which they haven’t, if they haven’t it probably means that there we’re actually talks to trade Murray to Buffalo. I
