Underrated dude, fine with Montreal not pursuing with this term considering the guys in the pipeline.

What a steal - thought he'd get north of $3M for sure.

Good top 5 d ain’t good enough to qualify as a real top4 but a hometown boy, that played well in playoff for 4 years is good, he can go in any pairing

EDM is finally starting to be appealing for UFA players because of their playoff run. Good for them.

should be on your bottom pairing- hes not a true top 4 dman.
almost 3mil for 4 years for bottom pairing....is too much, especially for a cap strapped team on a player with little upside left.

Real good deal for the Oilers, he was one of their better defenders in the WCF.

I agree. However, he's defensive numbers means this isn't a terrible deal.

I had heard that Kulak was gonna walk; guess I was wrong! This is a solid contract for a dman like him; right term, and not overpaid.

All he needed was a chance. His Analytics have always indicated that he was better than the opportunities he was given.

Blues should have offered this for Kulak instead of 4 mil for Leddy. Clearly Chia has had a hand in decisions this offseason.

Kulak wanted to stay at home. Many teams were interested and he easily could've got more money.

Kulak said he wanted to go to a place where he had a chance to win and a place that had a spot for him and he said Edmonton was that place and the it being close to home was just a big bonus
