Binnington - Griess has gotta be the most hateable duo in the league

Hopefully he can rebound from last year. With a shaky goalie in Binnington, this tandem is sketchy.

He had a good run with the Islanders, minus that one season. If he can bounce back, they this is a great deal. If he continues to slide, then he won't be an option most nights.

Good value tbh, but they should have aimed as little higher for a better backup/tandom goalie.

Gotta admit, I don't hate this move. Greiss was better than his sv% suggested last year, and it's not too much of a gamble that he'll be a serviceable backup behind a decent defense. The price is fine, as a veteran with a good history I couldn't see him dropping to league minimum for one bad year, so $1.25mil isn't a bad AAV. Hopefully he can get his mojo back in St. Louis.

SO instead of giving Chucky a one-way league minimum deal, his pride gets in the way again and now we get the Nazi lover who can't play worth a damn anymore. Horrible. HORRRRRIBLE.

Greiss is a decent backup, but for that price? Should have resigned Lindgren.

Really surprised they didnt go with Lindgren. I get Greiss has more experience but did they see him in DET. He almost looked unusable

Not sure what Armstrong is thinking. He wouldn't give Perron 4.75 but gave Leddy 16 mil for 4 years. Then signed Greiss and Acciari? Makes no sense

How the heck is this guy still in the NHL?!?
🤯

The only thing he has proven in the last few years is that he belongs in the AHL or overseas!
