Good deal for his defensive impact, kinda like Nichushkin.

I actually like the deal for the bolts. Elite defensively, good at faceoffs, good skater, could be better offensively but overall I think a good deal for a 2C

You do make great points, but this still seems like too much for a defensive-minded centre, especially for a team with so much cap trouble.

Would agree certainly a little much on the dollar front but maybe he becomes better offensively. Really with this deal it’s all just a “we’ll see” scenario.

"We'll see" on an 8-year contract is too much of a risk, in my opinion.

I mean sure but he’s still kinda young and still can get better so we don’t really know what the contract will look like, and for long extensions like this we don’t really know what it will look like.

This is a much more reasonable deal than the Sergachev signing.

We can only hope Cirelli's contract ages like Couturier's second contract. If Cirelli can reach that next level that is.

How? They have to be trading Killorn at the very least right?
There’s no way they can sign Cernak right?

Killorn's contract expires this season so wtf would they have to trade Killorn?

Halfway through the first year of this contact... His offence has stagnated and his defence has gotten worse. This is a bad signing now.
