Description

Who still needs a goalie? I'm not sure what I'm missing here. The Sharks appear to have 4-5 top 6 guys, and like 10 people going after bottom 6 spots. They just aquired most of them, so what is the plan? Are they still going to try and move Labanc, Bonino, Nieto, Simek, and Reimer to try and create cap space for a big-ish name UFA? Who would even want to sign with Sam Jose?

Can't see any team wanting 4.7m Labanc. Not much cap wiggle room at all especially with those NMCs. Looks like a battle just to make the playoffs.

Buyout Vlasic, trade Meyer, and move Couture to one of his 3 acceptable trade list teams. Keep Karlsson and Hertl for veteran leadership to mentor the kids.

This team isn't going to win anything in the near future, might as well get a head start on the rebuild.

Yea.. it’s not looking too good right now.. not sure WTF Grier is doing.. if he doesn’t Buyout Vlasic then I think he’s a complete idiot and shouldn’t have this job. That was prob the one play that the Sharks absolutely need to make! I don’t mind a rebuild but if they’re going to do it.. ****ING DO IT. Don’t half Ass it!!!!

If you're on team tank, buying out Vlasic now makes no sense. You should wait as long as possible so you don't extend the cap hit. If you're on team retool, I still don't think buying him out is a good idea. Trading Meier also doesn't make sense, he's young enough to still be a key player in 5 years.
