In case you haven't noticed, the Rangers are already a legit team, and they aren't giving up top talent and 1st round picks for a one year rental of anyone.

They gave up a 1st rounder for Copp for half a season last year... so please tell me again that they absolutely will not trade picks for a "rental"?

And tried like hell to sign him, but he wanted to go to Detroit. And it was a conditional pick that turned into a 1st, so it happens. That's not giving up Kakko, Blais, plus multiple picks, apples and oranges. ZERO % chance they make a Kane trade. And why would you want to trade Kane to a team that can only offer rental value anyway? Don't you want a max return for Kane? That will only happen with a team that can sign him, like with Fiala, and that team is not the Rangers. But enjoy your pipe dream.

Agree to disagree. Kane on the Rangers makes perfect sense to me.

No, getting a 21 year old with tons of potential plus Blais and picks makes sense to you. Never happens.
