Neither Beauvillier or Bolduc interest me all that much for this team. Would rather lose all of Vladis cap hit for picks/prospects or let him walk and save money for resigning guys and going after Tkachuk if a trade this season can't happen.

I second this. I think resign ROR to a 4 year $5-5.5M deal would be ideal, something team friendly. If we could somehow move Scandella and Saad next off-season then we could afford both Kyrou and Tkachuk. We could afford technically like $22.25M on ROR (4 x $5.5M), Kyrou (8 x $7.5M), Tkachuk (7 x $9.25M). The bottom six would have to be filled in with cheaper options like Toropchenko, Bitten, Walker, Brown, or Kostin. Sign Perunovich to a 1 year deal before extending him long-term.

I dig it. there's a way to make it work. Tkachuk-Thomas-Kyrou locked up long term as a line would be incredible and honestly should be the ultimate goal for the Blues. Snuggie I don't think will take more than a couple years and he's looking like he'll be a strong player for us

Yup totally agree. I like the idea of stars line (Tkachuk - Thomas - Kyrou), young kid line (Neighbours - Bolduc - Snuggerud), and vet line (Schenn - ROR - Buch). Tkachuk is more feasible than people think. Whether it’s this year or next year.
