I think they should be looking at Pittsburgh. They have too many D-men as it is. For instance Jeff Petry might be available, he's a good puck moving D and a bit too expensive for a 2nd pair role.

I think Matheson+4th could be enough. PIT could add a supplementary asset like Poehling.

not getting the puck to their fowards isn't going to be good for their development.

at this point im waiting for the barrie trade. maybe even girard.

We have to sign a RD, Edmundson-Savard, Matheson-Barron, Guhle/Norlinder/Harris-Wideman is not great

Kent hughes masterclass on the pitlick singing, i had him for 1.5x1, 1.1x2 is amazing

Not too sure on the Petry trade, just hoping Matheson does well for us

I think this Petry trade is the first time Hughes has actually blinked first. He's been waiting for a grand return for him but with every potential target going for alternative options he had to do something...before there were no takers left.

Eh, I don't think you can call a guy who doesn't do anything disappointing.

Underwhelming, but to disappoint someone you actually have to do something.

Trading Romanov for 13th for Dach was an...interesting move, but not necessarily bad. Too early to tell imo.
