      I say definitely give Roy the money, but not the term. Even a 4x1 Vegas wouldn’t be able to match, and Roy isn’t worth much that for four years.

      I don't think Roy signs a 4x1, but to your point, maybe offer a 4x2-3yr instead of the the 4 years since it's less risky.

      Roy's a really good player though and young enough that even the full 4 years would still end with him at 29yrs old and cover his prime years.

      I like a lot of this, but why bother moving Labanc if you aren't going to use his cap space to sign someone else? You're potentially giving up draft picks for nothing.

      Very good point. I just moved him here in this scenario since Grier's been reported to have been actively trying to move him, but to your point, he shouldn't do it if it costs SJ assets to move him out.

      I posted a similar AGM to this where I added Nino Niederreiter with the extra cap, I think it works well.
