This pretty much means 19 is out till at least the playoffs....willing to move LaPierre w Kuzy/Backstrom/Strome/McMichael blocking HLP's path to the NHL....and we have no D-Men signed for 23/24...so a little cost certainty there.

Chychrun is a great option but that’s not nearly enough for him.

Going to have to add another prospect and a high pick, also removing Eller and trading him elsewhere makes a lot more sense. A competing team like Minnesota will actually value him as a 3C and give a pick up for him. I suppose a third rounder, since Brown only fetched one second. Hagelin is a pure cap dump, a negative asset.
