Description

A lot of different options for their 4th/5th line centres and wingers. (this team is under the cap. I was just showing depth)

New York gets a much needed upgrade up front. Leafs gets bigger and more physical on D and on their 4th line and get picks and prospects.

Highly doubt Seattle trades a 2nd round pick in 2023, especially their own, for a rental. Why is Seattle making "deadline-like" trades when in all likelihood they don't sniff the playooffs, only to free up cap for Toronto??

I mean if you're just gonna give him away, I think the Islanders take him.

I'd argue that Clutterbuck and Holl probably have similar value (similar cap hits, both bottom line/pair guys, probably upgrades over what's left in UFA but not gamechangers), so the crux of the trade is:

Even NHL 22 would pop up an additional "Are You Sure?" if you tried to make this offer. Isles easily accept and if Lou's feeling friendly he calls in a wellness check on Dubas.

I don't think the Isles would trade Clutterbuck as Lou just extended him and they seem adamant on running the 4th line out there until they're dead
