Oh lord that Robertson offer is weak. The best asset is a prospect who wouldn’t even be in our top 3 best prospects, among a defensemen who will peak as a bottom 4 defender, a middle 6 centre who is not needed at all and non first round picks.

Do you really think Dallas will let him go for less than 8.5? He’s worth that and more, OS him that and I’m not even sure he’d sign that. In Calgary he’d make less money than Dallas because of taxes.

Not high, given that we need to clear cap space. That said, I could see a deal wherein CBJ send Nyquist and Bean (Calgary native) to the Flames for the rights to Kylington or Juuso.

Jake Bean is a bit of a conflicting one. His Dad is a very high ranking executive with the Flames. Not sure if that plays a factor in it.

Wouldn't mind Nyquist at all though in Calgary. Doesn't cover up the loss of 13, but he will score 40-50pts. For only 1yr, it's enticing

I think the Flames are a pretty good fit, too. And we'd probably sweeten the deal with someone like Bemstrom or Foudy.

I’d give you both at this point but I could see jarmo taking a flyer on Juuso coming back.
