Okay, the way I see it there are only 3 options.
#1 The best is dealing muzzin who I'm certain they could move. They just don't seem to want to. That would free up the defense and give them enough space to acquire more help in either forward or defense, but again it's the least likely out of the 3
#2 get rid of kerfoot. He's probably worth a 2nd. Similar to brown. He just doesn't give them any surplus value. Jarnkrok is the same player at 1.4m less. I'd deal kerfoot and get another forward at 1.4. Just makes lots of sense for a team who clearly lacks depth.
#3 the most likely (as you put in this thread) is dealing holl. The issue with this is he is right handed, a great pker, on a cheap enough deal, and has proven to be able to handle 20+mins a night. Player like that are worth far more than 2m. In saying that teams might not see his full value, so is it really worth getting rid of him for a 3rd or 4th? Probably not? Yet there's a logjam on defense.
#4 wildcard - trade sandin for an equivalent forward prospect
Am I missing anything here?
*gotta sign Engvall as well
