Can’t see why MTL would do this at all. Dach was a big get for MTL so i can’t see them packaging him up right away

Yeah no, I just don't see it happening like that. Wouldn't be a good look to trade someone you just acquired, also I wouldn't trade either 1st. Habs are in no rush to make a move for Dubois, Dubois himself said he's going UFA in 2 seasons. If there's any pressure, it's on the Jets.

That would probably get Chevy talking, but I think the Jets might prefer Barron to Dvorak. Montreal also probably wouldn't trade 2 centers for one.

Yeah your totally right. The pressure is on Jets GM right now because Dubois and Pat Brisson didn't stop to say that in two years they want to be Ufa and to play with MTL.

This could be use only to obtain a better contract and that would not be the first time someone use MTL to get better money or term on contract.

That's totally possible too and I wouldn't be surprised. We'll see what happens though, but having a player being open about wanting to get out of your team isn't a good look. Also, it doesn't help when you have Scheifele that possibly wants to leave too.
