Forgot to write it, but it was an “any team” trade

I think it is too many moving parts for everyone involved to work TBH. That and Montreal paid a really hefty price to bring in Dach, I do not think they are interested in moving him so soon, but who knows cause it is PLD they are getting in return

Horrible for Pens. Horrible for Florida, and Horniqvist doesn't waive to Winnipeg. Too much for Isles to give up for Dillon.

Habs also refuse, they won't be trading someone they just acquired.

Absolutely zero chance pens make that trade. They give up a potential top 6 forward and top pairing defenseman with term and get a 3rd line center and bottom pairing d man in return?

I wouldn’t do the PLD trade from a Jets perspective…. Armia and Dvorak aren’t enough value, regardless of other trades.

Habs make out like bandits here, Jets get ripped off pretty bad and the Pens are probably closest to getting value but they probably dont do it

I don't like the Dubois trade for the Jets. Armia is a cap dump and Kapanen is basically waiver fodder Hopefully, Chevy won't entertain cap dumps and waiver fodder as part of the return.

The main 2 pieces the jets get back are dach and Marino. If Dach pans out, the jets would win this in a couple of years in my opinion. Maybe replace the 3rd with a 1st in the MTL trade

Thats a lot of moving pieces, cant imagine you could get that many GMs to come up with something like this.. lol

A few things:
-Pittsburgh doesn't do that, they're loaded at center and Marino has more value than that and those just don't seem like pieces they'd be looking for in a Marino trade.
-The Habs won't trade Dach already though that's a pretty good deal for them, Dach is still really unproven at this point.
-Idk about the Florida trade, do they trade Bennett already and would Hornqvist waive, kinda doubt it, probably need another team involved for Hornqvist to go too, I have my sights set on a lesser return for Wheeler just to be rid of him though.. lol
-The Isles acquired Romanov so they likely wouldn't have interest in Dillon.

For me, it's that the Jets are giving up 3 pretty good valuable pieces and only getting back 3 less valuable pieces a cap dump and a marginal value player.

That's a huge gamble by the Jets, if Dach doesn't pan out, the Jets really screw themselves. If you got rid of Armia and Kapanen and replaced them with a 1st at least the Jets are getting some insurance. Probably should drop the 2nd from Winnipeg as well.

Would love to see if dach could replace what is missed with laine gone, kind of lost concentration after that point lol. Amazing how many love to run anything down. Compliments for the creativity and conversation starter.

From a Habs perspective, I would do this trade, no problem.
