Ya not many Tkucky cheezes out there. Seems like a unique player, though PLD is a C, I feel that has some wieght to try and even the trade, but I do think the jets may have to be the the ones to sweeten it.

-PLD is a fine high-end 2C/low-end 1C who's been more or less a 60-point guy in his career to date; Tkachuk might be a winger but he plays a more physical game and has been a PPG the last 4 years. Winnipeg adds a good prospect or pick to their side to make it even.

-No one to fill Mayfield's RD3 slot and the left side is more or less set with Pelech-Romanov-Salo. Personally, I wouldn't -hate- adding another LD and letting Salo develop a little more, but not at the cost of Mayfield - there's no one in the org besides Grant Hutton who can fill that RD3 (and I like Hutton but not that much.)

-Kyle's a fan favorite in Buffalo and part of the team leadership there, I don't think the Sabres want to mess with the chemistry they've built with such a young team.

Unlikely Winnipeg considers trading a center for a winger that will demand to be highly overpaid.

Ya having trouble finding trades for teams to shed cap. NYI- Dillon can probably bring a bit more all around play and pick up like Anton stralman for cheap. But a wierd one.
It’s dope Okposo has become that, I was an Okposo believer at the start of the year, really thought there was no way he has another super rough year. Hope he keeps this going

Well it seems when you do one of these you become a homer to whoever your dealing with. Capfriendly needs to step in and decline trades

Actually the Wheeler trade for Okposo is close, it is just Kyle moved his family to Buffalo shortly after he signed with the team.
He has had health issues for many years and Krueger did not know how to manage an NHL team, nor the players.
It would be a huge disservice to trade him.

It’s not crazy far off for sure, wheeler helps them stay at the floor and can fill the Okposo veteran hole. I don’t see Buff sending Okposo out like this as he really found himself a spot on this team this year. But hey wheeler is most likely going to bring a bit more than Okposo, but really not that worth it in the end.
