I didn’t justify anything I’m just pointing out you changing your stances. Can you guys extend or trade Miller already so I can stop hearing from Canucks fans about him?

People are acting like he’s a top pair d man but he hasn’t been playing like one. That’s why I said he’s underperforming.

An underperforming second pair d man is more valuable than Miller who just put up 99 points? Same age, both rentals, can’t use that excuse. If you think Severson is more value then I don’t know what to say to you. That’s pure nonsense

Underperforming? What?

I agree Miller is the better player, but Severson is a legitimate top pair RHD. He is the much RARER player. That's why it balances the scales for me.

There are 64 top pairing d men on the league but how many forwards put up 99 points? That’s what I thought.

I mean that's a bad way to put it because its comparing apples to oranges. That's saying Miller is a 1c and there's 32 of them too. And you're basically minimizing it to saying Schenn and Severson are equal because they both play top pair.

Severson is a top 10 RHD in my opinion. Miller is a top 10 C.

Here’s the thing, yeah Severson is a good top 4 d man, but is he one of the best d men in the league? No. Miller has been producing points like a top 15 player in the league the past few years. Severson is simply not a top 10RHD

How is he not? I'd easily take him over Carlson, Karlsson, Pulock, or Weegar right now. He's right there with Parayko, Seider, Pietrangelo, and Dobson, and I take him over all four if you're asking me who's better today.

IMO he's only behind Makar, McAvoy, Fox, Ekblad, Letang, and Doughty (based off last season alone).

I would not have Severson ahead of any of those players except for Karlsson

Well if that's where you value him, then I understand why you wouldn't trade Miller for him.
