Description

It seems like we'll probably trade Dubois to MTL too, but I'm leaving him here for now because I have no idea what to expect for the return at this point. Montreal only has relatively lacklustre assets (Anderson, Dvorak, Florida's 1st) and *super* valuable assets (Their own 1st, Suzuki, Caufield), nothing in between lol.

So for now, we'll move forward assuming Chevy handles this the same way he handled Trouba, and we just keep Dubois around for another year or so before trading him away.

Maybe at the trade deadline this season, Chaz Lucius is playing well in the AHL and allows Chevy to cave and pull the trigger on a Dubois for Anderson, prospect and Florida's 1st trade, turning our lineup into:

Connor - Scheifele - Ehlers
Anderson - Kadri - Perfetti
Milano - Lucius - Pullujarvi
Barron/Harkins - Lowry - Appleton

Lots of different variables at play for the Jets at the moment. Will be very interesting to see how the rest of the off-season unfolds. This Kadri rumor just adds another layer lol.

well someone will. that trade really aint the main point of contention here -- The Jets will get some 2nd or 3rd round draft pick(s) back for Dillon easily, whether it be Edmonton, Ottawa, Florida, etc.

Jets can’t sign a 31 year old kadri and keep a 29 year old scheifele and then decide on a aging helly. Move over Buffalo and ottawa, there will be a larger longer dumpster fire to dwarf yours.
