I get people probably aren't thrilled that it's a 1 way, but the guy is (IMO) good enough to play 4th line or at least fill in as an extra. There's nothing wrong with this deal (especially because 2 years increases the potential reward if he happened to break out).

I really like this deal for the Jets. $850,000 for a guy that can give you up to 20-25 points. Great deal
