Description
Most of these deals are pretty self explanatory, but I'll explain a couple highlights

Deal with Tampa - Carolina needs a true number one center, however considering how few are available and their price tag, I believe Francis could elect to go with a good scoring number 2 center. Johnson is an RFA this year - Tampa needs cap relief - Carolina takes Garrison's contract to relieve pressure and for that favor Tampa throws in Yan. Carolina sends Fleury - a prospect who has seen ups and downs in his development but seems to be on the right track now, Murphy who has shown flashes of offensive skill, but has never been able to find it with the big club and who desperately needs a change in scenery, as well as a couple picks.

Trade for Korps is to add a good goalie who can split some time with Darling next season and who has some potential to become a solid starter.

Ship off Cam Ward to Vegas and give them a third and Dahlbeck.

Acquire Silfverberg who will likely have to be exposed in the expansion draft by Anaheim.

Anaheim says NO. Why are they giving up a top6 forward for a bag of pucks? Give us a proven Top6 Forward back.

Because Anaheim might go for the 2nd option to protect more D for the expansion draft. So Vegas has its on Silferberg. Better getting those picks than losing him for nothing
