Description
We have 5 pairs of NHL wingers (6 when all healthy), i believe Byron is out til December so he will not factor in for a while...i have no idea what Drouin is doing this season but i would think 1 or 2 of these wingers will be moved prior to the season hopefully returning a RHD that suits our timeline.

I don’t believe a 4th round pick would be nearly enough to dump that contract. Although they are different situations I would compare this trade to the Nemeth cap dump trade with Arizona. Montreal is better off keeping him if that is a reasonable comparison.

Yeah I was gonna look at the Kassian dump cause both are making similar money and Armia has another year.

Hughes said he's not paying to dump players though and at this point you have to take his word for it. He's delivered on every promise thus far.

Their cap is fine with the Petry deal, the problem is too many wingers which is a big reason Poehling got dealt, who's played on the wing and center.

They'd place Armia on waivers before dumping a pick. Poehling most likely was headed to waivers before being sent down to the AHL.

Yep and you got plenty of cap coming off the books over the next couple of seasons.
