Probably too much for just 2 years of Nylander. I like the idea of Severson for Nylander as a base of a trade though.

He isn't. He got all of his points while playing with Bratt and Mercer, who he will definitely not be playing with next season.

he was 5th on the team in goals above replacement and WAR among forwards, ahead of mercer. 1st in even strength offence. you don’t have to score points to be effective.

even if he doesn’t repeat that, doesn’t make sense to dump him before tatar, considering tatar had a pretty wack season last year and scored fewer points than johnsson.

Leafs have no interest in Severson, I'm not saying the offer isn't close to fair but we need to move muzzin and Holl before we can think about a #4 RD and if we can't move muzzin we shouldn't move Holl. But it would have to be a better prospect than shakir
