With the trade of us getting Marino, could a 1 for 1 Severson for Wheeler trade work? Winnipeg would also retain 1.25mil of his contract. Let me know what you guys think.

I like this trade proposal for the Jets far better than your other offer. I have no idea why the Devils would want Wheeler though.

Why is Severson expendable.? Teams need 7 or 8 NHL competent Dmen to make it through the season. Might be able to trade Severson at TDL. Adding two years of Wheeler really does nothing for the Devils.

Schmidt for Severson and WPG will have to add. Schmidt can play the 1 or 2 LHD. Which prospect would NJ be looking at?
