Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
new jersey gets a guy to play with dougie on the top pair sort of a stop gap guy until younger defensemen develop

Winnipeg cant sign anyone cause nobody likes the peg they got money and need everything kerfoot only has 1 year left

not very realistic i know the defense is risky and relays on a lot of growth from young guys to be good but also gives flexibility in the cap for next season

The Devils would probably just prefer to pair Siegenthaler or Graves with Hamilton. There's really no need for Muzzin.

I personally don't think moving Muzzin is wise. They need him for the playoffs and if he pairs with Brodie, he'll be really good again. However, muzzin would be so good with Hamilton. He is better in his own zone than anything Jersey has and would let Hamilton run wild.

Would leafs retain 50% on Muzzin?

NJD likes keeping their cap number low.

i just think jersey wants to make a playoff push muzzin moves that needle clearly neither graves or siegenthaler arent good enough to play top pairing minutes

clearly dubas is risking a lot this offseason the trade gives a ton of cap flexibility to sign more forward depth and also gives the young defensemen a real full time nhl year also the defensive ability in this forward group is pretty nuts
