thats the hardest of NO's from Colorado. swap Dickinson for somone with more value and then maybe but as is thats a no go.

Major no for Colorado. Avs aren’t giving up a 24 year old top defenseman with term and a 21 year old NHL C on his ELC for a 1 year Miller rental and a cap dump.

CF cracks me up sometimes. Girard a 24yr old top pairing capable dman (whom you installed in the top pairing) locked up for half a decade, a really good 21yr old future 2C and a good young prospect for one year of a 29yr old guy that ends up being the 4th best forward in the Avs. The Avs don’t want Miller. Hard fast and ruthless no.

Take out Newhook, Foudy, and Dickinson. Then it's close. You're undervaluing Girard and overvaluing Miller.
