Miller or Garland to the Wild

Created by: Angusc
Team: 2022-23 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 18, 2022
Published: Jul. 18, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
It's most likely a no for both trades from Minnesota, but just curious if the team needed more offense based on their first round exit from St Louis.

In the Miller trade, Rossi can be replaced with Calen Addison if he is more valuable. Yes, I know Dumba isn't a great defencemen, but most likely he will be included since he addresses our need in acquiring a right shot D.

On the other hand if Minnesota wants Garland instead and is not willing to trade Dumba, I would do Addison or Rossi and a 2nd.

Pretty sure you are the guy who has said, Holl wouldn't make the Canucks a million times and he's better than all RD on your team. Myers sucks he is a legit cap dump and Holl isn't

According to insiders Myers has value big difference between a guy that is 6"8 and a guy that's 6"3, I was the guy arguing the schenn is better than Holl which is true

By absolutely no metric in hockey is Schenn better. Which is why he played in the AHL for parts of 2 seasons until the Canucks got him. The reason why he's in your top 4 is not because he's good. It's because you literally don't have any top 4 RD. Holl is best suited on the 3rd pair but can and has played 20 plus minutes on a much better team.

Buddy they have almost identical metrics yes Schenn played in the ahl 4 years ago so did Holl if you are comparing a guy that makes leauge min to a guy that makes 2mill I've got some bad news for you

There is a reason why Schenn is on a league min bud. He couldn't get more because he's a 7/8 defenceman
