  1. 2023 2nd round pick (EDM)
  2. 2024 4th round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
Similar return to Connor Brown. This is just a placeholder team. Heard Oilers were into Brown and they love ex-Leafs so Kerfoot fits.
2.
TOR
  1. Tanev, Christopher ($2,250,000 retained)
Additional Details:
This only happens if Calgary decides on a rebuild. Sutter gets an old vet player he coached in Muzzin to mentor the youth for free, while also getting a haul for Tanev.

  1. Abruzzese, Nick
  2. Muzzin, Jake

  5. 2024 2nd round pick (TOR)

  1. Gurianov, Denis
Additional Details:
If it doesn't work with the Stars, I think he'd be a great trade deadline target.

since when was Tavares a second 3rd liner? the 2nd, 3rd line look bad. jarnkrok is no where near a 2nd liner.

Agree.

Jarnkrok is a fantastic fit on the 3rd line, and sure can play up the line up if needed, but definitely not a guy I would pencil in on the 2nd long term.

As it sits, Edmonton cannot afford to bring Kerfoot on as much as the Leafs cannot afford Kerfoot. You are making a deal with Calgary, but that is where Inwould be moving Kerfoot. Obvious fit there right now.

Frankly, a 3rd line of Engvall-Kampf-Jarnkrok is going to the most stable of all the lines. The game styles mesh so well, and it should be quite dynamic. Fabulous defensive unit that can actually chip in sole offense. Best 3rd line on paper the Leafs have had in the Matthews era really.

Gurianov is too young for the Stars to entertain moving imo. Would have to be an epic fail for them to entertain it.... and even there, I would see a change of scenery deal over a draft pick.

Calgary would be moving Tanev any time soon. They are missing a top 6 winger. Toronto and Montreal have a couple. Or maybe they didn't Neideritter (not my first choice if I were them).

Switch up the lines however you would like, I just wanted to show a roster. In this current line setup, I was thinking more of a line 2A and 2B scenario, but feel free to let me know how you would assemble the lines.
