Lou could always pay next years 1st for Sandin. I mean he did it for a worse defenceman in Romanov

Beauvilier isnt worth a 2nd in 2023 which will be between 33-40 OA in a deep draft

Its laughable to include two more assets. That's a bigger price than Toews got

If you want Lou to try to pull off this fleece jobs, then you're going to be waiting a very long time.

All the Sabres need is old winger with or without retention for basically a late 1st round pick.

-Minnesota is set at goalie and wouldn't want to spend assets to get a 3rd, even if it's basically cap neutral. Filip Gustavsson is no longer waiver-exempt so they risk losing him if they send him to the AHL this season. Wild pass.

-I really don't think Buffalo needs retention. Bjork is already the odd man out up north and I don't think they'd value Bailey at a 2nd rounder. Look for a team with less NHL-ready prospects than Buffalo if you want to move Bailey out.

-I'd rather have 2 more years of a 25-year-old Anthony Beauvillier than 5 more years of a 28-year-old Josh Anderson. Even in an extreme down year, Beau outscored Anderson last season. The extra assets are fine but Anderson clogs up the cap too much for the years when we're going to need to be extending Barzal & Sorokin.

-Lou wouldn't trade Cal after extending him at the deadline this year.

-Since Minnesota passed, no need to trade for Hill here.

There's also zero chance that you sign Dobson and Romanov to bridge deals that low - Dobson probably bridges around $4-5M and the rumor is that Romanov already turned down a bigger deal from the Habs. Not sure if that means the Isles also have to go above that deal, but I'd assume you're probably bridging Romanov for $2.5-3M.

Habs don't even do anderson for Beauvillier 1 for 1
Heck, they don't even do the 2023 2nd (top 40) for Beauvillier 1 for 1, and you want the habs to give you both AND a A-level prospect as well ?! Are you drunk ?!

Minn Trade: Lou has already stated multiple times he is not trading Varly.
Buff Trade: Does not make sense for either team, Bailey does not give Buffalo anything they do not already have and if the Isles move him they should not be retaining.
Mon Trade: Stay away from Anderson, he has injury issues almost yearly and Beau is the only player in the top 6 currently who has speed besides Barzal.
Phi Trade: Lou did not just resign Clutter to a contract to trade him.
SJ Trade: Irrelevant since Varly is not going anywhere.

Stop with Sonny Milano, ANA fans will tell you that he is not good.
