Why would we ever do this? A second line wing, an average prospect, a bottom pairing D, and a 2nd for a 23 yo 60 point future Selke, youngest captain in NHL center man. Shall I go on? I’d bet Hischier retires a Devil

Would be so disappointed if they moved Hischier, for any return really
But I don't think this offer would entice the front office to consider moving him, it's probably quite a fair bit off.

He's barely 24; acting like he's a done deal is a little absurd.

I mean, I get it. That's not a great package for Hischier. But hyperbole is unnecessary.
