Too much for MIN to give up, both teams say no to the NYR deal, caps say no to ARZ deal, and BUF throws up and laughs at that deal.

Sabres trade is brutal

1- can’t see why we’d actually want Hagelin.
He’s too old to fit the timeline for our rebuild & we have other Vets. You’d have to pay us to take him. He’s just not a fit for us

2- can’t see why we’d wanna give up Asplund,
He’s 1 of our best defensive forwards who can play up & down the lineup, Plus he’s the right age to fit into our rebuild timeline.

@Giggz_2002
Please think, would ANY team trade a 24 yo forward with a $825,000 to 2022-23 (RFA) and 27 pts for a 33 yo forward with a $2,750,000 to 2022-23 (UFA) and 14 pts?

If they have 5.5m in space left over even with Backstrom back, why not just keep Oshie? Sabres trade is horrible for them, and they will not move Hathaway except for a massive overpay, not an AHLer
