    Every team goes through it, your Devils did, Columbus in 2019.

    I'm hoping they look at futures more than current pieces. Finishing 9th in the conference just isn't that appealing.

    I actually think NJ is the best trade partner here too.

    The Devils have cap space and prospects. CGY may need to take on a Johnsson or Tatar, which is no big deal.

    I mean, I'm quite sure the Devils would add both AJ and Tatar in the deal. You could definitely flip both if that was the avenue you were going down.

    I'm thinking it could be a rough year for the Flames.

    With no 13 or 19, I wouldn't be at all surprised if soon-to-be 64yr old Darryl Sutter decides to retire, looking at a depleted roster.
