Why not? It is way better than the DeBrincat return

Yea and you aren’t messing with Kyle Armstrong. Debrincat is a terrible trade to value your players on because everybody knows it was a fleecing by Dorian. Your logic is like saying you can trade for JT Miller with a 7th round pick because paciorettys return was future considerations and because miller is better than pacioretty means he should get more of a return. Flames have denied a deal for tkachuk that included kyrou, Krug, and a first. That was reported from blues insider Jeremy Rutherford. If you think this package gets tkachuk you are gravely mistaken. Maybe if you roofied the flames GM and took incriminating pictures of him then maybe this goes through but be real this isn’t happening.

this is Basically 3 firsts for a guy that wants out, idk what you think is fair but you are wrong. I also don't believe everything JR says. Krug has a full NTC and would not want to go play in Calgary

3 firsts isn’t enough when they qualified tkachuk for arbitration so they couldn’t get 4 first round picks as compensation through an OS. You gotta think logically here. I would believe JR here as he has a close relationship with the tkachuks and is a blues insider so he is likely the guy to trust here. This isn’t really all that that is being offered compared to other things that have been offered like the 2nd OA pick plus more. This is a terrible offer even if tkachuk wants out

I don't see either of those guys being involved. St Louis probably believes they are the front runner to sign Tkachuk in free agency if he gets there. And if his desire is really to play in st Louis then their offer is probably going to be a bit of a lowball and they just bank on Tkachuk forcing his way to UFA status whether that's with Calgary next season or someone else on a one year rental.

Well then you’ll have to overpay in free agency you’re looking at 11 million if you get him early you can sign him long term early plus you might not even get him he’ll have so many teams offering ridiculous contracts for him in FA

Ya I just think it's a bet they'd be willing to make since it has long been speculated that he would like to play in St Louis like his dad. They would likely be the front runners but as we saw with Gaudreau and new jersey, that is never a guarantee.
