Description
The packages for tkachuk on this site are way out of whack. Nobody looks at comparable players and nobody reads the market.
TKACHUK ISNT GETTING 4 PREMIUM ASSETS.
He has to be traded bc treliving isnt losing both tkachuk and gaudreau for free to the point where in terms of necessity of trade hes close to eichel territory. But hes a W with 1 year of control who will notoriously sell out for every last dollar and encourages those around him to do the same (remember the brady situation).
The idea that hes gonna get 2 1sts a top prospect and a young middle 6 F/2nd pair D is crazy. In fact i couldve sworn i saw similar packages for debrincat, how did that work out.
These are some packages that make sense in terms of value.

I fully expect to get destroyed in the comments and i fully expect to be the last one laughing like i was when i was called crazy for other trades. So have at it and we'll see soon enough.

I see what you’re saying but I would have to say he gets =/> Eichel. He isn’t injured/recovering from major surgery, he just had a 100 point season that Eichel’s never even come close to, and there’s likely even more team control if he’s coming with a 7/8 year extension.

I’d imagine 3 first round-equivalent assets. For example Kemell, Tomasino, and Fabbro

Finally something somewhat realistic. However, I do think the Blues would sweeten the deal a bit without adding any other major pieces.

Yeah but like i said CGY has no choice but to trade him. They have no leverage in a deal plus i highly doubt he comes with an extension. I think any team that trades for him knows hed be open to signing there long term but i dont think it will be a guarantee and i also dont think he signs an extension till next summer.
He also is a W eichel is a C. I think that is something that is massively underrated. Another thing about the poimt comparison is both his linemates hit a ppg and gaudreau was the 2nd highest scorer in the league. Eichel played with a 60 point reinhart and a scrub. The flames were legit contenders buffalo was a bottom 5 team in the league.
I could be wrong but i think youre looking at similar packages to these.
