Description
So this is to free up space and possibly keep kyrou in a possible calgary trade. Trading Krug and Vladi for pieces to send to calgary and keep a prospect to boost our prospect pool for RD.

Our Backend is going to kill us with cap next summer and Krug doesnt seem to be the guy they hold on too when it comes to faulk parayko and him. Our top 4 isnt going to include leddy i think perunovich moves up to pair with faulk and leddy is 3rd pairing who will jump up if mikola is having a bad game or they are trailing.

Torey Krug is a fine player, and earlier in the off-season we might have been able to entertain an offer like this. But with Mikey Anderson and Sean Durzi to re-sign (giving us 7 defensemen) and 14 forwards under contract already, any trades from this point on will have to be at least cap-neutral and roster-neutral, and this trade is neither. But the team down the road might be interested in talking to you.

Columbus can't afford to take on any roster players. They have even less cap space than the Blues do.

Philly declines only because it’s a one year deal and they won’t be a playoff team. The offer is fair though. Unless they want to retain cap and flip him for more I can’t see Philly getting involved in this deal

philly was one team on vladi list of trades so he would be signing there in this scenario
