Not OP but I do think the return on Kane, if he is traded, is going to be underwhealming. I think it could be a Giroux situation where he's only wanting to go to a couple teams. I'm kinda expecting a Kane to NYR for half the price you would expect it to be type of deal to happen by the deadline

You gave us a 3rd and prospect for Duncan Keith. Kane is still in his prime. NYR or BUF come in with better offers.

And everyone will know it's not Kane but the team. His YoY stats have been pretty consistently great, one year on a horrible team will not change the value of Kane. He's a game changer, you guys would be lucky to get him but other teams and likely more desirable landing spots in Kane's opinion will beat this offer.
