Norlinder can play both sides, and either way i dont think montreal is willing to give that much up for a player they can just wait and sign in two years.

Flames trade wouldnt get it done cuz there seems to be several teams interested in him. Two unprotected firsts is a decent start but i dont think MTL is going to want to pay the price its going to take to land him.

Technically, Norlinder has yet to prove he can play either side at the NHL level.

by that logic he has proven the same on both sides lol

I would also rate him as the 4th piece of that trade in terms of value.

No question. A first is always coveted. Dvorak is a proven NHLer, and on the surface Farrell appears to have a good future. Norlinder's first try at small-rink hockey didn't go so well. Here's hoping it goes better this time.
