    Just grabbed a random cap dump trade I saw in a Habs thread, can be replaced with another prospect or can be a different dump from another team, was more or less to get the team to the cap floor through a 1 season cap dump trade and less about the Habs making that deal

    Yeah I dont see why they wouldnt, just wanted to avoid dumps that had trade protection for the sake of ease

    I think his NTC is just with the canadien teams since it’s a 7 team one. Bear Gardiner and a mid pick for FC?

    Montreal doesn't need a 1 year cap dump. Hoffman might be an option, but they are going to need players under contract anyway. Hoffman for Crevier, maybe Montreal adds a pick if they really need the cap space, but that won't be known until later.
