You don't get that for a guy who's one year away from UFA and doesn't want to play for you...

...there also not chance Zona moves Chychrun to CGY without Coronato, 2023 first + coming back

If chucky goes to jersey he's immediately signing long term.. the UFA status is irrelevant in his next trade. He'll only be traded to a team he will sign with in order to maximize the return. Not to mention the GM is related to him. They want him badly.

If I'm NJ and Tkachuk wants to be here - I'm not selling my farm to Calgary. They're in an awful situation and I don't see NJ helping them out. Calgary either forces him to sign long term or they have to move him and if he wants to be in jersey then they're not giving up four first rounders for him.
