No I just saw you were a leaf’s fan and decided to put you in your place. It’s not all about the leafs. It’s about me seeing who your team is and criticizing them based on their makeup. You came into a canes post with nothing to say other than **** talking KK so I’m gonna **** talk your team as well. Enjoy the early offseason next year.

if its not about the leafs then why did you bring up the leafs when the leafs have nothing to do with the post lol, what has kk done to warrant being a 2nd line center? but you get all insecure and pissy because i make a comment regarding a player on the team that the post is about lol, you got to watch 1 more round and the out come was the same, no cups, all that matters, KK stinks and is a 3rd line center at best at this point in his career, my take isnt outlandish at all, you just get upset easily

canes fans really know nothing eh?

Why do the Hawks get a better offer for retaining peanuts than the Blues do for their leading scorer?

Jury still out on that one. I’m bullish but wouldn’t be surprised either way. His underlying metrics and stats per 60 were similar to Troch and when he had to fill in for 10-15 game stretch last year there wasn’t a noticeable difference imo.

I think if he’s surrounded by high end talent (which he will be: Svech turbo patches Jarvis Necas) he’ll be just fine. If you want him to drive the line himself with not so skilled players around him that’s where you probably run into issues.

Also have a plan B with Necas sliding into that spot if KK is struggling or if Necas just outplays him.

My rationale is that if St. Louis wants Tkachuk they'd have to move out ~9million in cap which will likely come in the form of them shipping out a defenseman and a forward. It's not easy to move out money so Tarasenko's value with just one year left on a contract likely isn't as high as it would be with more term left. Carolina just traded for 7million of Pacioretty and 762.5k of Coghlan for basically nothing so I'd say the return that St. Louis is getting is reasonable, especially considering draft picks are becoming more coveted. What assets would you trade away instead of the proposed trade?

KK probably starts the year as 2nd line center but Necas or Drury will probably take over that 2nd line center spot at some point during the season if KK struggles.

The St. Louis offer is better than the Chicago offer. These moves all would likely be contingent on St. Louis making a play for Tkachuk in which case they'd need to move out ~9million in cap space and it's getting hard to move out money even for very good players. Tarasenko only has 1 year of term left before UFA status and the Canes just got Pacioretty (1 year, $7million) for basically nothing who is a 30-40 goal scorer in his own right.

The Canes got Patches for nothing because Vegas was in the seventh concentric circle of cap hell. The Blues are very much not. Two wildly different scenarios. This Blues offer is useless trash for a contending team's leading scorer. The Hawks at least get useful things for a couple million in retention, which would normally get one about a 4th.
