Description

CGY Deal: CGY starts their rebuild with a PPG 24 year old player with multiple seasons of control, a very good center prospect, and two picks. They take on $3.75mil this year of VT’s salary.
CAR: Carolina moves potential for performance. They also shed some cash (~1.5million coming from the differences in Tarasenko and Necas deals as well as Scandella and Gardiner). Carolina goes after Kadri.
ANA: They hit the cap floor this year, maybe let Gardiner play himself into positive value and flip him.

We won't need any help getting to the cap floor. The Boston guys are dying to trade us Mike Reilly and the St. Louis guys are dying to give us Marco Scandella, and those are more appealing alternatives to Jake Gardiner.
