Either way its not like the info isn't readily available online elsewhere. Don't have to use the ranking on the spreadsheet if you don't want to.

IMO, the rankings we have don't matter that much. They are pretty much there just to show who is still is available and who is not.

No but if the player I want is ACTUALLY ranked lower but because you guys decided that an out of date ranking is what you are keeping then I get screwed if someone doesn't make a pick in time and gets that player higher than he should have.

Believe me I was happy to see Mittelstadt at 15th but then Krak had to go and ruin that for me.......Chances are everyone is making their pick in the first round anyway so don't worry.

Changing rankings was a subject that was only broached 2-3 days before the draft started and after everyone had already agreed to the current list.
The player someone gets before you has no bearing, whether they make the selection or it is done for them. That would be an issue regardless of what list we use.
Maybe not for you, but for someone else. Bottom line is that we knew how these rankings looked and agreed to use them in spite of the possible flaws.
If you want to be sure to get the player you're after, your best option is, and always has been, to trade up.

Your pick should be based on who is available when you select, not who might have been available if another team hadn't selected him. If you're counting on teams ahead of you not picking your player(s), you might want to revise your drafting strategy. I myself moved from #4 to #3 to guarantee I got either my player or someone better, and I did it early to avoid any last minute pick trading nonsense.

Since my pick is 3 from now, can I give a top 3 right now in case I miss it? I might not be able to make it for my pick at #12 tomorrow.

You can edit your preference list in your post from the picks and preferences thread. That's the first place we will look if you don't make it.

I just want to double check. I've seen at least two people reference the Toronto pick as #18 today, but I have Toronto as #17 and Boston as #18.

The capfriendly mock draft tool shows Toronto as 17th, and Boston at 18th. Should be correct IMO

I apologize for this, made one typo and then thought that it was correct for a little bit.

Not a problem. I only clarified so someone didn't accidental miss their window because they have the wrong pick # recorded.
