Jason Robertson took a beating in the draft. Can't believed he dropped from mid 1st to the 2nd round.

I was tempted, but I had him late 30's and my other guys were still available so I stuck with my original plan and took Ratcliffe.

It will be interesting to see how our GM's match up to the real life selections and whether players that slide here also slide in real life.

For starters I'm pretty sure Colorado aren't trading to 10 for Foote

I think our list vastly overrated Robertson. The Hockey News, for one, has him at #51. I think he'll go around 40.

I don't think Colorado's going to have an extra pick in the 1st to do that with. Unless Sakic gets off his Duchene high.

I think Robertson will slip into the late first round. Alot of teams could use a gritty sniping left wing and with the lacl of depth in this draft might as well take a chance on him

I'm pretty sure I brought this up before but Suzuki is ranked 4th or 5th in one list and 28th in another? How does that make any sense!?

Again its a pretty open draft. He put up great point totals but some don't think it will translate. I put him in the same kind of category as Glass

Its going to come down to each teams preference. I see the same thing happening to Rasmussen

Rasmussen, Suzuki, Necas and Tolvanen are all in the same boat.

Im a huge fan of Tolvanen but I can easily see him being a bust as well. I just like that at his size he's not afraid to hit. Also Vesalainen will be an interesting one to watch. He's performed really well against people his age but has trouble against older opponents
